1941 FORD COE One of my current projects I found the Cab Over in Cranebrook near Penrith,Sydney
in early 2000 after searching
for quite a while, asking numerous
people and following up leads. It was traded for 4 grille shells from various
cars although I think it would have been easier keeping the Grille shells
and hanging them on the wall. If anyone knows the whereabouts
of any other Ford COE parts I would appreciate knowing about them especially
a 1938/40 Oval Grille & Grille Shell.
Ain't It Neat
Just a little bit of rust
Actually quite a lot of rust

Check out the rust. The frame that
supports the front half of the body will need to be replaced
as it fell apart when the body was lifted of the chassis.
So far so good.
A view from underneath. Not very
pretty is it.
Time to bring the chassis home although
once it was home I don't know why I bothered. It was very badly pitted
the full length of the chassis. oh well, it may come in handy for measurements.

Still a long way to go.
Notice that on the rear the panels are not
welded together just nailed to timber with a finishing strip to cover the gap. this body
differs to the US body as there is no moulding around the rear window.
I know there is a lot of rust to fix but I think it is still worth
it.
This is the front suspension I intend to use
